Description

The Bluestown Inn is an affordable and comfortable lodging alternative to mediocre motels and rustic residences. Located in the very heart of the Birthplace of the Blues, the Inn offers two newly constructed and furnished suites: clean, comfortable and cozy.

Location

Bluestown Inn is located across the street from the historic Greyhound Bus Station (circa 1930), now the Clarksdale Revitalization tourist information center. Unique downtown shops and restaurants are conveniently within walking distance. The Delta Blues Museum and festival stage are right around the corner. There is plenty of parking available.

Clarksdale

Clarksdale Mississippi is the world acclaimed "Birthplace of the Blues" - home to Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Ike Turner, to name just a few of perhaps 300 blues musicians born or raised in the Mississippi Delta. Blues Highways 61 and 49 intersect as the renowned "Crossroads" of Robert Johnson's legend. Over a century of original American music still resonates the sleepy Delta atmosphere as contemporary musicians carry on the living blues traditions in authentic juke joints and local venues.
